Prof. Abdel Rahman Tawfiq The Founder

PMEC was founded by Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahman Tawfiq, renowned as "The Godfather of Training in the Middle East." His contributions to Human Resources Development (HRD) are widely recognized in academic circles and have significantly expanded awareness of HRD across the region. With over 40 years of extraordinary experience in the HRD and training industry, his impact has been profound.

Dr. Tawfiq has trained more than 50,000 Egyptian and Arab professionals and contributed to the development of over 100 Arab governmental and private institutions through Organizational Development (OD) consultancy and HRM systems. He has trained over 1,000 leaders in various leadership skills and strategic concepts such as scenario planning, future mapping, and strategy formulation.

In 2008, he authored PMEC's bestselling book documenting success stories of 50 prominent Arab leaders, marking a milestone in leadership literature. As the first Arabic HR trainer, he published over 1,000 titles in management, HRD, and training in Arabic, distributed across 70 bookstores in more than 10 Arab countries and showcased at 100+ book fairs. His work set a foundation for building a specialized scientific library for management and development professionals.

Dr. Tawfiq's pioneering achievements include creating the first directory for professionals in training and development in the Arab region, comprising over 10,000 records, and authoring the first Arabic Encyclopedia of Training, a 9-part series that standardized the training profession. Additionally, he integrated Islamic and contemporary administrative thought through his intellectual model "Degree of Understanding" for analyzing strategic thinking.

He presided over eight Arab Conferences for Human Development in Cairo, attended by hundreds of Arab professionals, and contributed extensively to scientific papers at conferences across the Arab world. Dr. Tawfiq also championed the concept of integrated training modules, applying them successfully in many Arab institutions. He served as the president of the Training and Development Association, promoting knowledge dissemination through its quarterly scientific magazine, which provided insights into trends and advancements in management and human development.
